It really is tiring to see these web comic guys occasionally publishing the "romantic" strip. It's like the deepest thoughts they ever have are about some girlfriend they have/had. XKCD is guilty of this as well and he's brilliant. Just stick to making shit that makes us laugh. Save the sap for the trees.

No, actually it was color pencil on bristol. which was scanned, imported to illustrator, and then had a live trace applied to remove some of the blotchy-ness from the pencils.
