i dont get it..
yeah, that looks like a hex, but it is not, i can't figure out what it is. At first i thought it was the hex for a green color, but as stated, it was not.

You actually have your terms reversed for most assembler languages. and beside would this lead to either him or the money being overwritten?
@quadrapod: No - as far in as this could be correct - it is - as far as Intel goes.
@quadrapod: in 8085 intel assembly (the only one I've programmed with) MOV A, B would move the data in register B to A. So in this case, moving all your money to him.

Wow, utter fail. First, that isn't even remotely valid hex and don't get me started on improper usage of the mov instruction.

@Yaro, Dude, it's a joke. he got the point across. Who freaking cares if the syntax is correct or not. If we want to get into everything wrong with this comic,, then why not say that the number zero doesn't have sweat glands? Or the number one would never be able to obtain a firearms license? And let me guess... you run Linux because you got self-conscious when some d-bags on a forum were badmouthing your favorite OS and you just wanted to fit in.
Maybe that cash register's hardware understands "MOV 0xME, 0xALL_YOUR_MONEY!" and wouldn't understand your "valid" hex.

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
